Avito launches AI based universal advertising tool

The largest Russia-based classified Avito has introduced a new universal advertising account, from which businesses can launch an unlimited number of campaigns. The account is built around a powerful AI-based engine that analyzes tens of thousands of parameters and anonymized data on the behavior of over 72 million Avito users to show them most relevant ads. Click-out advertising will redirect users to external resources. Click-in tools will attract the audience to stores within the site.

The aim of the new product is help businesses solve a wide range of marketing tasks: from increasing brand awareness and expanding reach to stimulating traffic and increasing sales. It is based on an auction model, where the cost per click is formed taking into account the advertiser’s bid, the quality of creatives and the relevance of messages.

The minimum cost per click is one ruble ($0.01 U.S.), which allows flexible budget management and testing of a large number of approaches to campaigns. Depending on the format chosen for attracting clients or image building, payment is available both per click and per thousand impressions. The minimum budget for launching a campaign is RUB5,000, which should make the service accessible to all businesses regardless of their size, Avito said.

Advertising management is organized in a three-level structure: campaigns are divided into groups, groups — into creatives. This architecture allows testing several hypotheses, optimally distributing the budget and quickly adapting to changes in the market and audience, Avito said. Advertisers only need to upload a set of titles, texts and visual materials; the system automatically generates adaptive creatives for different formats and sizes of sites within Avito. Three formats are available for now: a text and graphic block, video and a dynamic HTML5 banner, with plans to expand the available options.

The platform is integrated with leading ad quality verifiers, allowing clients to monitor the visibility and effectiveness of banners and videos in real time. For planning purposes, a campaign results forecasting tool estimates the reach and number of impressions taking into account the budget and competition, helping to build effective strategies.

According to Avito, brand investments in image campaigns on the platform increased in the first half of 2025 by 56% compared to the same period last year.

Nationwide, the volume of the online advertising market grew by 53% in 2024 to RUB1.2 trillion ($15.7 billion U.S.), according to the Russian Association for the development of interactive advertising.
