Muscat – The Ministry of Information launched ‘Izdihar’ identity as the first official advertising agency in the Sultanate of Oman on Monday.

The agency aims to provide media and advertising services at the local and global levels, and keep pace with the variables of the advertising market.

The launch of the agency was sponsored by H E Qais Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, in the presence of H E Dr Abdulla Nasser al Harrasi is the Minister of Information.

A statement issued by ONA said ‘The Ministry of Information organised the first advertising forum on Monday with the aim of strengthening partnerships between the ministry and various private sector institutions in the Sultanate of Oman by providing media and advertising services and benefiting from the ministry’s services through its visual, audio, and print channels and electronic platforms.

H E Yousef said “The launch of ‘Izdihar’ agency came at a very appropriate time to organise advertising work between companies, institutions and various media to obtain the best type of advertising at competitive prices.

Mohammed bin Said bin Mohammed al Balushi, Undersecretary for the Ministry of Information, said that the agency will support the ministry’s revenue increase through advertisements.
